Affect vs. Effect

Affect (v.): to influence, to act on, to produce an effect in, to impress the mind, to attack or infect, as a disease, 影響, 感染 

ð      The draught affects the plantation and the farmers are under serious financial condition.

ð      The education he received from the US affects his thought process deeply.

ð      The flu has gradually affected his lung.

  

Effect (v.):  to cause something to happen, 引起, 招致 

Effect (n.):  result, consequence, 效用, 結果 

ð      Lawmakers need to effect changes in health care administration.

ð      The effect of over-drinking on his brain and body is enormous.
