Le rire, c’est le soleil; il chasse l’hiver du visage humain (French)

English Translation:

=> Laughter is like sunshine; it chases winter away from the human face.

陽光,驅逐人們臉上的冬色

This phrase comes from

書名 Les Misérables (by Victor Hugo)

Volume II: COSETTE
Book VIII: "Cemeteries Take What is Given Them"

Chapter IX: "The Close"

For Cossette now laughed.

Even the way Cossette looked had changed to a certain extent.

All gloominess had vanished.  Laughter is like sunshine, it chases winter away from the human face.

The book that I am reading is a huge book with 1,280 pages.  I have only read about 1/3 of the book.  It is not easy to move forward.  By the way, I still havent finished reading The Trial.   I am pretty busy lately as I have a system installation this weekend and three projects to be launched in July.  In addition, I am taking a three-week vacation in July, so I have a lot of work to be completed and delegated before I leave on vacation.  During my three-week vacation, I will not be logging into my computer to blog or answer any Yahoo questions.

Lately, my days have been filled with both tension and excitement.  Talking about the system install this weekend, I have to be on a conference call at 4 am tomorrow.  Anyway, that is not the first time that I have to work on Saturday for system install.  This is the life of a project manager.  You have to be on call in case something goes wrong with the install.  Kind of like an OB doctor.  But my god!  4 am!  That is too early for me.
