When life throws you a curve ball.

What does this mean? 

Curve ball is unexpected.  So when life throws you a curve ball, it means when you face changes, challenges or something unexpected.  

So what should you do when life throws you a curve ball, you can try batting with it.  That is to deal with it with a positive attitude and an open mind.  Don’t let the curve ball defeats you.  Try to harness this opportunity and turn it to your advantage. 

For example:

Your company has laid off quite a lot of people and you are left with additional workload due to reduced resource.  What you can do is to complain about it, which does not help to change this situation, but only makes you feel more miserable.  Or you can see this as an opportunity to broaden your experience and knowledge on fields that you have never worked before.
