Mind my own business
Maybe I should just mind my own business and stop providing suggestions and corrections to others. It is sometimes hard for me to leave it alone. As I see someone providing wrong information, conveying wrong concept, I would jump in and correct it. My act wasn’t taken very well by some. They don’t see that I am trying to help. They don’t see that it will benefit them in the long run. Instead, they tried to argue or ignored my suggestions or corrections, and continued to provide wrong information to the others.
I really don’t care for those with low English ability to provide wrong information because of their low credibility. What I am mad about are those with about average English ability, continuing the same mistake even though I have pointed out to him/her. It is such an irresponsible act.
Is it pride that gets in the way? Is pride so strong that blinds you from taking in any suggestion or feedback? Is pride so important that it is justifiable for you to sacrifice others from learning accurate English? Anyway, if that is the case, I really have nothing to say to you. I will try to stop providing comments to you. Since you are not the first and will not be the last one to continue to teach inaccurate English concept to the Taiwanese people, I really can’t care too much.
