I finally got a hold of the pheasant.  These are some of the pictures I took this morning.  Can you see how big a hole he has made on our screen door?  There is a heat vent very close to the area that he camps now.  I suspect that he is after the warmth coming from the heat vent.

By the way, my son wants to grow tadpoles at home.  I will have to go to our pond and find some.  I think that they hibernate in the winter.  I can still use the excuse that it is not spring yet.  I will see how long that can last.  I don’t like bugs or any slimy creatures.  I am not a nature person.  However, I like living in the nature as long as I am inside the house.  I would go hiking in the park behind our house in spring or fall but not in the summer.  I am paranoid with mosquitoes.  Do you know the state bird of Minnesota?  It is the notorious mosquito.  Since Minnesota is surrounded by thousands of lakes, it becomes a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Oh, if you stay at our house and hear the helicopter flying above our house, don’t be alarm.  They are just here to spray chemicals on our pond to keep control of the mosquito growth.

By now, you may grow tired of reading my articles about my surroundings.  I will find some grammar topics to write next time.  Or maybe I can write about the art of writing, the logic of writing.
