I was listening to the radio while waiting for my husband to pick up my son.  The DJ introduced a song and then said “Now, please sink you teeth into this piece”.

 

 

I thought that it is an interesting phrase, so I decided to share it with you.

 

Sink my teeth into something.

= To enjoy something that is interesting and has meat.

= To work on something that is of importance.

 

For example:

I am assigned a project that I can finally sink my teeth into.  Managing a project with $700 million impact to the company is truly challenging.
