Eyes widen at the sight.

For example: 

His eyes widen at the sight of her.  Every move she makes is so elegant and attractive.

In came two gorgeous ladies, and his eyes widen at the sight.

I have never seen Sophie’s eyes widen at the sight of him.  They fixated on his face, unable to move.

** By the way, when your eyes widen, it usually means that you see something interesting or something that interests you, such as a gorgeous lady.

Another phrase very similar to “eyes widen at the sight” is “face light up at the sight”.

For example:

His face light up at the sight of the chimpanzee.  He has been waiting to meet one which can communicate with him.
